Measuring your dog for a Persnickety Pets collar or bandana
Classic Dog Collars
To ensure the best fit, don't skip this step! Measure around the base of your pup's neck at point (A) with a cloth measuring tape pulled snugly (but not tightly). If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of string then measure it with a ruler. You should have room to slip two fingers comfortably under your dog's collar.

Martingales
Measure around your pup's neck at point (A) and at point (B). If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of string then measure it with a ruler. Select a collar size that accommodates both measurements. To be effective, a martingale collar needs to close completely around your dog's neck just behind the ears, without applying pressure.

Training Collars
Measure around your pup's neck at point (A) and at point (B). If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of string then measure it with a ruler. Select a collar size that accommodates both measurements. To be effective, a martingale collar needs to close completely around your dog's neck just behind the ears, without applying pressure.

Bandanas

When determining the largest neck a bandana will fit, we allow for room to tie the bandana in a secure double knot.
