Hey Foodies!
Bubba here, and I’m going to dish out some sweet sweet tips on my favorite food combos. If you’ve been feeling a bit blasé about your meals lately, this list outta pep you right up. Without further fondue, here are my top 5 foods that go with cheese (in no particular order).
1. Shrimp
Broiled, boiled, fried, blackened, grilled, sautéed, steamed. There’s no bad way to cook it. Add some cheese and it’s the two best foods EVER, brought together in eternal harmony. Glorious.
2. Bread
Dudes. It’s the ultimate cheese carrier. This combo is cheesy, gooey heaven. Especially during the midnight snack attack when my human makes us hot cheeses in the counter zapper.
3. Meats
You can’t eat the good cheese without the good meats. Uncured salami, cured salami, steak, pepperoni, capicola, prosciutto. Get all of it. You deserve all the delicious flavors.
4. Strawberries
Most people don’t think about the fruits, but a little sweet with your cheese is magical. Brie and strawberries is my favorite pairing. Or you can dunk those babies in some fondue… you’ll be fon-done!
5. More cheese
Some people think cheese is cheese. They are wrong. There are so many delectable types of cheeses out there. Gruyère, Jarlsberg, aged cheddar, triple crème brie, camembert, gorgonzola, stilton, burrata. One type of cheese is NOT enough. Go for the gold. Indulge.
Bonus tip: If you’re feeling extra fancy for feast-time, just take all of these ingredients and serve them together. I promise it will be the finest charCATerie board you will ever experience.
